Samsung Galaxy Fold 3 + Flip 3 - This is how it is better.

So, Samsung recently announced a few more devices including Samsung Galaxy Fold 3 and Flip 3 and a new Galaxy Buds 2. So, in this article, you will know some new features of Samsung Galaxy Fold 3 and Flip 3 that make them better than their predecessors.

The Flagship Product of Samsung is its Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G. Which comes with 7.6 inches display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It now comes with a 4400mAh battery but previously in Fold 2, it used to have a 4500mAh battery. Now, it has got a little bit thinner and is comparably less in weight than Fold 2 line-ups. It also has Gorilla Glass Victus. Also, it got a stronger Aluminium body. But, the camera system is unchanged. So, don’t expect so much good image quality. Its base variant comes with 12GB of RAM and storage of 256GB.

Now, comparing to Fold 2 line-ups the weight of Fold 3 is reduced by 11g and thickness is by 0.8mm. Now, there are three big changes that have been done that are listed below:

1. It has an under-display camera. So, this is a camera system that can become somewhat invisible. In order to make an under-display Samsung reduced the quality of the front-facing camera from a 10MP camera in fold 2 to a 4MP camera in fold 3. So, the quality suffered but intern it allowed the smartphone to be thinner and better looking.

2. Now, it has S-Pen support. But, it will only support S Pen Pro and S Pen Fold Edition.

3. It’s now IPX8 water certified (1.5M of water for up to 30 minutes), which means it is now water-proof to some degree. And, that is amazing as it is a foldable, not normal one, making it water-resistant is really surprising,

Now, the pricing of Fold 3 is lower than Fold 2 and is reduced by $200. But, it’s again $1799 Smartphone still. So, it’s more accessible than the last year at least.

So, now if we talk about Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G. It has got a 6.7inches display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It has gotten 3300mAh battery. It is configured with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Again, it is also lighter and thinner than its predecessors, making it look and feel better.

Just like Fold 3, it is IPX8 water-resistant certified. But, it does not have an under-display camera like Fold 3. The pricing of Flip 3 is starting at $1000. So, becoming more accessible.
